MANISH GUPTA
Manish has 17 years of buy side experience with Japanese financial institutions like Tokyo Star Bank and Aizawa Securities Group. In the money management journey between 2007 and 2023, he has experienced and delivered promising results in multi assets ranging from index derivatives, listed scripts, private equity, mezzanine, and buyout investments. He came to Japan in 2002 and completed his MBA from Nagoya University of Commerce and Business with a scholarship from Japanese government.
FUJII TADASHI
Tadashi has more than 30 years of experience ranging from investment banking, trading, portfolio management with Japanese financial institutions like Maruman Securities (now Tokai Tokyo Securities Co., Ltd.), MUFJ investment banking, Tokyo star bank. His career started with fixed income products like convertible bonds, foreign bonds, structured products giving him the best base to analyze the target company’s fundamentals. He is a certified CIIA, CMA and AFP, who graduated from MEIJO university.
GURJINDER S. SAGGU
A graduate of Delhi University with a Master’s in Japanese from the same institution, Gurjinder S. Saggu also studied at Hosei University in Japan with the scholarship from Japanese government. He has extensive experience in translation, interpretation, and market research, having worked with NHK, Tokyo Immigration Bureau, and other prominent organizations. He is highly knowledgeable about the India-Japan business landscape and has supported various companies to grow in India-Japan corridor. Gurjinder leads the business area for language and communication support along with supports for strategic growth for invested companies.
Dr. S. Ravi
Dr. S. Ravi is the founder of Ravi Rajan Co., LLP and a certified Chartered Accountant (FCA) with 30+ years of expertise in corporate finance, restructuring, M&A, and regulatory affairs. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance & Commerce, and is certified in DISA, insolvency resolution (IRP), and fraud examination (CFE, USA). He chairs the boards of Tourism Finance Corporation of India Ltd, Spacenet Enterprises India Ltd, and 360 One Asset Management Ltd. He also serves as Director on the boards of Aditya Birla ARC, Aditya Birla Health Insurance, Aditya Birla Money, Usha Martin, Granules India, PCBL Chemical Ltd, and Xander India Advisors, actively contributing to audit, risk, finance, and governance committees. Former Chairman of BSE Ltd, Dr. Ravi has held board positions at 45+ institutions including ONGC, BHEL, HAL, LIC Housing Finance, and key public sector banks. He led the turnaround of Punjab & Sind Bank and has served on SEBI’s Takeover Panel and Mutual Fund Advisory Committee. He has been recently appointed as a Special Invitee to the Strategy, Perspective Planning Monitoring Committee of ICAI.
